Dr. Clemens began his persuit of veterinary medicine at a very young age, working in the orginal Auburn Veterinary Hospital under his father Dr. Peter J. Clemens, Jr. Dr. Clemens enrolled in veterinary school at The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1974. Upon completing his education in 1978, he returned to Auburn Veterinary Hospital to work under the tutaladge of his father. In 1982, he gained ownership of the hospital from his father and still practices medicine today. Dr. Clemens is also gained his certification in veterinary acupunture in His current veterinary interests include reproduction, acupunture and surgery.
Paul currently lives in Auburn, Ohio with his wife Dawn, their 2 dogs, 3 horses, 1 cats, and 1 geriatric chicken. Dr. Clemens in the proud father of 2 children Benjamin & Jessica; and 3 step-children, Jessica, Taren & Rachelle. In his free time Dr. Clemens enjoys horse back riding with his wife, rough housing with the dogs and napping.
